Fathers Day

We had a nice Fathers Day to celebrate such a wonderful father . I am so blessed to have such an amazing father for my children. We love you Orrin!!

Dayshavoo

For the month of June we had some crazy dayshavoo from June of 2007. Check out my post from then here. So this June, Bradley contacted Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease. His Dr. was a little worried and didn't know exactly what it was when we came in. She was coming up with really scary ideas but after I told her that he looked like Wesley a few years earlier, she consulted with another Dr. and they concluded that it was Hand, Foot and Mouth. We always get sick with the weirdest stuff. Then a few days later I was the lucky one to received the stitches. My sweet little Bradley (who, may I say, has a very good arm) threw a wooden toy car at my head. He freaked out more than I did. The Dr. said that I would have just a little scare and that it healed pretty good. So after I received the stitches I told Orrin that I thought he was going to break out in hives and get the flu because of the curse of June 2007. It didn't happen, lucky for him.

(Sorry about the ugly pictures. I just wanted to prove that it really did happen again)

Trip to the Zoo with Dad

We love the Portland Zoo. We even bought a year pass to the zoo. On the Memorial Day holiday we decided to take Orrin to the zoo with us. We went really early that day which was really nice because we had the place to our selves. The boys love going and checking out all the different animals.

New Bikes for the Boys

Wes has been really interested in working and doing chores to earn things. It has been so nice for me to have him do little things that I haven't been able to get to (vacuuming the couch, washing the walls, etc). We decided to have him work towards earning a bike. He worked really hard and it was a 3 month process but he finally earned his bike. It was so cute to see how proud he was of his accomplishment. I was so proud of him too. He worked really hard.

Bradley also inherited a bike too. He is very possessive with it. He gets very upset if Wes even touches it. Wesley absolutely loves his bike and wants to ride it all the time. A few times now we have gone on family bike rides were Daddy, Wes, and Brad ride (while I push Brad). We love our family rides.

Garden Update

We have been having so much fun growing our first real garden. Our amazing friends/neighbors have let us use an area in their yard. It is so nice to be able to just walk across the street and check it out. We love seeing how much it grows each week. It is so easy to grow things here in Oregon. Mother nature takes care of a lot of it here (we haven't had to water for a few weeks now). I am still crossing my fingers to see what harvest we can get out of it. Stay tuned for future updates!

The walk from our place to the garden :)

Bradley's favorite time of the day!

Bradley loves to take baths. He asks me a few times a day to take a bath. One night after his bath, while Wesley was in the bath, we heard Wesley say "Mom, Bradley got in the tub with his PJs on". This is what we found. He was so happy to be back in the tub and didn't even care that he was dressed. Silly boy!

Last month at Wesley's Preschool they had a Special Someone's Tea. They had the room set up for a tea party with lots of treats to eat and they had lots of different things to drink (my favorite was chocolate milk).

Each class got up and sang a song for their guests. It was too cute.

Wesley had fun making faces with the grapes in his mouth with his friend Clayton.

The kids spoiled us with lot of surprises. We got a potted flower and a bracelet. We also got to play games together and then we were presented with a special card.

I loved every minute of it!
