Christmas Preperations
I think we always forget how much fun and hard work it is to get ready for Christmas. There is lots of baking to do
and lots of beaters to lick.
We also had to go and see Santa.
I thought that Wes would love to sit with Santa because while we where waiting in line he was waving at Santa, but I guess he got stage fright. After his turn he started waving at Santa again. Wesley also thought that he needed to get into a snow ball fight.
He really did throw this at a guy that looked at Orrin like he did it. But lucky we had witness that backed us up.
Another thing on our list was to spend time in the cold going to the Tempe Boat Parade. I think that was the coldest day yet this year but it was fun going with family and friends.
One of the most important things we had to do is get our Christmas Tree.
It was raining and dark. I think we were lucky with the tree we got because I finally said lets just get this one and get out of the rain. Wesley had a blast stomping in the puddles and rolling around on the ground. He was so WET. We had to let the tree sit outside for 2 days until it stopped raining and the tree was able to dry.
Now all we have left is Christmas shopping and going to all those christmas parties.

Temple Lights
Tonight Wesley's grandpa sang at the Temple again this year. Grandma was also schedule to sing with her singing group but they got rained out this weekend. Each year we love to go and see him and his group sing (FOG- four old guys). They have been singing for as long as I can remember. They started singing at girls camp (that's how they got their name). When I took out my camera to take pictures the battery was dead so all I have is video but I think that is better so you can hear them too. Wes had a blast dancing and screaming for grandpa. We also had fun walking around the beautiful temple grounds. Even with all the people it is still a peaceful place.
