The Boys Pictures

Brad's 2 year old pictures & Wesley's 5 year old pictures

Bradley didn't smile much but this is the look he gives anyone that tries to talk to him. My mom said that is exactly what I did when she took me to get my 2 year old pictures taken. Oh well.

Adams Family Pictures

My Parents and the kids still at home, Blake & Emily.

My Brother Scott, his wife Jana, and their beautiful girls.

My brother Tyler, his wife Stormy, and his son & baby girl (3 wks old).

We were talking afterward about how it took a long time for us to finally get our family pictures taken again. The last time was right after Orrin and I were married and we have had 8 more members of the family join since then! But it was funny that we decided to take the picture when 3 members of the family get braces on, one just had a baby (but she didn't even look like it), and I am pregnant (in the weird stage when you just look like you are gaining a lot of weight).
This was one of the coldest days I think ever in Arizona. It had to be like 20 degrees and the wind would not stop. I am so surprised we got some good pictures out of this. We had to fight the kids to get their coats off for the pictures and I think almost everyone including the adults wanted to cry because they were so cold!!! But despite all of that I think they turned out great!

Wesley's Friend Birthday Party

So I planned my first kid birthday party. It was really fun and I think the kids had fun. We had 9 kids (including ours) in our appartment but they were all really good and it was really fun for Wes to have all his friends over at the same time.

We had a carnival themed party. They played games, had corn dogs & carmel apples, and presents and cake.

New Years Eve

So I guess in Az they just passed a law that makes fireworks legal. So weird to me because all of my life you couldn't even use sparklers. There were so many firework stands all over the valley and it wasn't even the fourth of July. I think the deprived Arizonians were really excited for New Years. Our neighbors invited us out to watch their firework show on new years eve. The kids loved the sparklers. They even lit a few surprises off that they bought from Mexico. Freaked me out.

Wes Turned 5

For Wesley's Birthday we went to Chuck-e Cheese. It was really fun for the kids.

Then we came home and opened presents.

I love this picture

Wesley's cake got attacked by rival pirates while we were at Chuck-e Cheese (it fell apart). Good thing I took some pictures before we left.

Christmas Morning

So we usually make the kids wait to come out until we get ready with the cameras and take a few pictures.

Wesley's & Brad's gifts from Santa.

Brinlee with her gifts from Santa. She looks so excited!

The family gift from Santa, a love sack. That was fun to take out of the box.
Our family ready for the opening. We usually let everyone open Santa's gifts first and then we have breakfast. After everyone is done we open the other gifts. It is so hard as a kid to wait that long. They look really ready.
Bradley sat most of the time on Great Grandma's lap. My kids love them as much as do. They are the best. It made Christmas extra special to have them over.

The rest of the day the kids played with there toys and cousins.

Even found some time to make more treats with Grandma. I noticed in most of the pictures of Brad he had some food in his mouth. So you know what he did most of the day.

My most favorite day of the year... Christmas Eve

As long as I can remember I have loved Christmas Eve. I have so many good memories and it is such a magical night with our traditional candle light dinner,

Talking about the birth of Christ,

Singing Christmas carols,
(Orrin and my Brother Blake played a duet on the violin. Orrin had not even picked up a violin for years but they figured out something. We were all amazed. It was beautiful.)

Opening our first Christmas gift, which is always PJs

And reading the night before Christmas and going to bed waiting for Santa to come.

I love Christmas Eve! We were so luck to be able to spend it with every member of my family and also my grandparents who came to visit from Utah. Oh how I miss them all.
