"Uncle Trebor!!!!!!"

Orrin's brother Trevor came to visit us for a week. The boys had so much fun with him. Bradley constantly was calling his "uncle trebor" to come and play with him. We tried to show him a good time while he was here. We went to the zoo.

The boys took a trip to Multnomah Falls. Its so beautiful there. They went hiking up Multnomah Falls and one of the smaller falls and here are some pictures of it.

So I gave Orrin the talk about watching the kids closely and not letting them lean over the edge. Not like he doesn't normally watch them but more for my sanity than any thing else. I worry too much.

But when they got home, Brad and Wes come straight in to tell me that brad lost his hat over the waterfall.Which makes me think how close he was to loose his hat off of his head. This picture show you how close they really were.

They also told me that Orrin climbed out on this log and grabbed it as it was floating down the water fall.

Now I don't feel so crazy for worrying so much. I'm just glad I wasn't there to see it.

We also took him to see the Portland Temple.

We took him to the Portland Rose Garden.

Mt hood is right behind them.. Just couldn't see it when we took the picture.

I really wanted to go blue berry picking this year because it would be our last time before we move. It was a really bad year here for berries because of a late start to the summer. So they were really hard to find. We found a u pick place that had them but they were young plants and not the big and super sweet ones that we had had in the past. But we did get to go and the boys got to pick some.

We had so much fun with you Uncle Trevor, Hope you did too!

While Trevor was here Orrin was studying for part 2 of his written board (he took part 1 last summer). The day Trevor left he took the test (2 day test) and PASSED!! Its his last board written test, no more major studying for such a big exam. Next comes the practical, where he works on a patient at the end of this 4 year. Almost there. We are so proud of you Orrin and all your hard work!

We love THPRD (Tualitan Hills Parks & Rec District)

I love the parks & rec here in Beaverton. They always have fun activities for families and even better they are always free! This summer they had what they call "Party at the Park". It is a huge even for families at one of the bigger parks. Its actually close to Nike World Headquarters.(which I hope to take a tour of sometime before we move away) Our stake and the missionaries provides all the volunteers for the event. Its lots of fun.

Another event we went to was "Truck Day". At one of the rec centers they have every kind of truck you could think of come, park in the parking lot, and let the kids play with them. The kids really can go inside, climb on to, and do what ever they want in them. They even give out ear plugs because there is a lot of horn honking going on. The boys had so much fun. Their favorites: the monster truck, the McDonald's semi truck filled with happy meal toys (they let the kids climb in and take one), the bread truck (they were passing out little loafs of bread and cookies, and the hummer limo (they got to run up and down jumping from couch to couch).

My boys are suckers for face painting. It seems like they have this at every event and they wanted it every time.

Another cool event they do each summer is "picnic at the park". The city has different parks through the summer were they provided dinner for anyone that comes, has a band come and play, and has fun activities for kids do to.

They had so many more activities that we love and will be sad to miss next year. We love THPRD!!!!

Our Trip to Utah and Idaho on the way

We decided to take our first road trip with 3 kids. We really wanted to visit my Grandma because we were not able to make it to my Grandfather's funeral and we left as soon as we could. I was really worried about this trip to take with a new baby (6 weeks) but it really meant a lot to me to be able to make it there as soon as we could. Kyson and the boys did so amazing. We stopped in Idaho and spent the night then the next day we made it to Springville, UT were my grandparents home is the next day and met up with my family. We took a lot of stops so we could feed Kyson but we found really neat places to stop. One was this air museum.

We came to visit my mom's side of the family but we were also able to visit with some of my dad's side. We had a family night at my cousin's house and had so much fun. BBQ, family, and bounce houses what more could you want!

It was really fun to see some of the Adams side. It had been a really long time for me.

We spent lots of good time with my amazing Grandmother. I love her so much and so do my boys!

We went and watched Cars 2 movie together.

Picnic by Hobble Creek.

We also got to spend sometime with my Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. We love hanging out with them.

While we were there Kyson went to church for the first time.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful families and extended families on both sides and love spending time with them.

We were also able to spend some time with Orrin's Aunt Debbie and Uncle Garth and his cousins in Idaho.

His cousin Mike and his family had a cat that had just had kittens and the boys (especially Brad) loved the kittens. Brad would carry them everywhere. Poor kittens.

We love his Aunt and Uncles yard. They have a huge garden and Orrin loves to go and find some snacks.

Uncle Garth got out the tractor and drove the kids around. They had so much fun.

Did I say how much we love coming and visiting them!!!!!! We always have a blast.

Orrin's brothers, Vern and Joe, and their families met us up in Idaho on our way back from Utah. It was so nice to see them and it reminded us how much we miss living so close to them. They were so nice to make their trip a few days earlier so that they could see us. They boys loved playing with their cousins.
