First ever Griffith Park Ward Campout

Our ward has never had a ward campout. The bishop and the old activities leader do not like to camp and didnt want to plan one. So Orrin is in the Elder's Quorum Presidency and decided to take it on as an Elder's Quorum / Ward activity. It was a lot of work and planning on our part but I think the ward had a great time. At least the kids did.  (Wes is in the green shirt)

The ward in the early morning.

This is mostly all we saw of wes the whole time, running off to some new adventure.

I was the lucky one that got stuck with (some how because it wasn't planned that way) buying and organizing all the food for the campout (dinner and breakfast). That was a lot of work but yummy.

Kyson did great!!

Playing in the dirt! Boys.

We have camped at this campsite a few time and there is a huge tree that fell over and the kids love to play on it. It looks really cool.

Brad and his nursery teacher. Sister Kiera Threadgill.

The campsite is right up against the Willamette River. Beautiful!!
